The culture has embraced contraception and sexual license, and what do we see — that the glorification of sex has resulted in the widespread acceptance of women being sexually abused, raped, harassed, treated as objects just as Bl. Pope Paul VI said it would. Not that these things didn't occur before the Sexual Revolution. Of course, they did. But the 1960s brought in an era where women increasingly went along with and accepted the objectification, selling their bodies to politicians and movie moguls and media giants and pornography distributors to advance their careers. They took off their clothes for movie cameras and engaged in sexual activity on the big screen and the small screen and helped fuel a climate of hyper-sexualization of the culture. They called this "liberation."
It permeated fashions, so-called art, entertainment and helped launch the world of pornography and sexual addiction. When you look at the sidelines of almost every NFL team, for example, you see scantily clad women who are essentially strippers, euphemistically called cheerleaders and directors happily cut to as many shots of their dancing around as the broadcast permits.
Women who have been abused, raped and harassed are victims, true. But many are not innocent victims. Some are. Others are not. To the extent that they have willingly ripped off their clothes with cameras rolling, dressed in the most provocative suggestive clothing specifically designed to draw attention to their sexual parts and cause sexual arousal, debased themselves to the level of lustful men and created a climate of sexual saturation, no one can be surprised by what is now being revealed. Do they deserve it — no. Can anyone actually be surprised? How could they?
Exactly what message do we think two or three generations of teenage boys are getting when Hollywood starlets act out explicit sex scenes in movies, oftentimes gratuitously? What do they walk out of the theater thinking about women, who in the movie plots, present themselves as sexual objects and use their sexual powers to advance themselves? And what about young women in the theaters watching these same scenes? Perhaps they are not aroused in the same manner as young men but what message are they getting? Take off your clothes, and the world is your oyster. That's the message.
This, of course, does not apply to all women, for some truly are victims, innocent victims. But just how much of a truly innocent victim is a woman who presents herself as a sexual object in her dress, speech, manner, interaction, profession and daily life and then — shocker — gets treated like a sexual object? Is the man wrong? Absolutely. Should he go to jail or pay a penalty in some other way? Almost assuredly.
But the elite feministas, please stop with the #MeToo when you went along with it and more than that actually encouraged it to advance your careers and standing in your professions. If you thrive in the hook-up culture, take birth control so you can engage in sex whenever you want, encouraging men to look on you as just a sex object, stop shrieking and feigning shock when you get treated like a sex object. You have contributed to the cause of the problem. Many of the #MeToo women have murdered their children in the womb, essentially fueling a climate where men can escape the responsibility of fatherhood and avoid any responsibility for their actions.
Sixty million and counting little Americans have been butchered alive — sacrificed on the altar on sexual license — just so many women could feel liberated and equal to men but equal only in the sense of sin and filth. Why would women in their noble desire to achieve social equality choose to be equal with regard to the dark side of masculinity?
Women may not share in the guilt of all this, as much as some men who cannot control themselves, but to pretend they are all innocent and spotless pure little lambs when they have stripped off for the covers of Playboy and the centerfolds of Penthouse, when they have been celebrated for their nudity by other women in the media and received Oscars and Golden Globes and accolades of every sort, again by other women, as well as men — come on ladies.
Is your view of "liberation" and "equality" a world where you can flaunt your sexual prowess and sport your sexuality in the most provocative manner imaginable and expect to not provoke? Is that what you want your daughters to learn being a woman is all about — flaunting your parts? Even Madonna's daughter was creeped out by her mother's sexual displays. Get yourselves and your daughters out of the skin-tight, practically painted-on jeans, the nearly non-existent swimsuits and near-transparent blouses, all designed specifically to get boys to look at them as sexual objects and then maybe your case of #MeToo would sound a little less shallow. But right now, even though it perhaps started as a good public awareness model, it has quickly deformed into a political weapon being used by the Democratic Party machinery to rev up the engines of the "War on Women" tactic in advance of the 2018 midterm elections.
When you stop wearing clothes and accepting roles specifically designed to accentuate how incredible it would be to have sex with you, then maybe people will stop viewing you as just someone to have sex with. And it can't go without saying, a woman who contracepts, regardless of the means, makes herself a sexual object for her partner. What else can she be for him once she chooses to contracept? When you consciously, intentionally eliminate the possibility of conception, it really is "just sex" and at least one makes him/herself a sexual object for the other!
So, no one should be surprised at the current rage of hypocrisies. "It's just sex" has become "normal" and has been for decades. No one should ever be treated like a sexual object but neither should anyone present themselves so obviously as exactly that and then be surprised at the response. Women who present like this are responsible for the sins men commit in response and will answer to God for the sins they inspired. Men will answer for those sins, too, but intentional and flagrant immodesty is not a "free pass" for women. They don't get to say "I have not one shred of responsibility for what men think and do in response to how I dress or appear nude in movies etc." when you are dressing or stripping precisely to make them think of you in sexual terms.
The emphasis of #MeToo needs to switch from "I was abused" to "I am going to own up to my share of the responsibility."
A little modesty goes a long way. It's why it's a virtue.

Jerarcas timoratos frente a la debacle bergogliana ( por Christopher A. Ferrara)
Entonces ahora debemos preguntarnos: ¿Dónde están los cardenales y los obispos? Con una o dos excepciones nobles (sin embargo inconsistentes), su respuesta a la debacle bergogliana va desde el silencio hasta la complicidad activa, y en el mejor de los casos, retorcerse las manos a causas del estado cada vez más caótico de la Iglesia mientras le ruegan al Papa que "aclare" sus intenciones ya perfectamente claras. En este punto, continuar abogando por una "aclaración" sólo puede dar lugar a una impresión de falsedad, mientras que el silencio continuo sobre el origen papal de esta catástrofe en curso es una reprimenda permanente a todos los jerarcas que saben lo que todos sabemos: que en el epicentro del caos está el Papa más díscolo que la Iglesia ha tenido que soportar.
Continúa la inacción mientras los laicos y algunos buenos sacerdotes han de defender por sí mismos, lo mejor que pueden, la enseñanza constante de la Iglesia contra los abusos de un tirano sentado en la Silla de Pedro cosa que amenaza a los jerarcas con un legado de vergüenza y una terrible rendición de cuentas ante el Juez Justo. El hecho de que (estos jerarcas) no defiendan la Fe enfrentándose a la persona que saben muy bien que la ataca casi a diario, se presta cada vez más a una acusación de pusilanimidad frente a un peligro sin precedentes para la Iglesia y la causa del Evangelio la cual están divinamente encargados de liderar.
El tiempo de la "prudencia" ya pasó. La prudencia ahora da paso a una mera pusilanimidad. El momento de la acción jerárquica es ahora, antes de que el daño a la Iglesia se vuelva irreparable. Los miembros de una jerarquía aparentemente intimidada por la tiranía papal que la Iglesia nunca antes ha visto deben levantarse inmediatamente y dar una valiente respuesta al desafío planteado hace mucho tiempo por Monseñor Klaus Gamber, cuando la crisis eclesial ya monumental estaba todavía en lo que ahora puede ser visto como simplemente una etapa preliminar:
Dijo Gamber: "¿Dónde están los líderes (de la Iglesia) que pueden mostrarnos el camino correcto? ¿Dónde están los obispos lo suficientemente valientes para cortar el crecimiento canceroso de la teología modernista que se ha implantado y se está pudriendo dentro de la celebración de incluso los misterios más sagrados, antes de que el cáncer se propague y cause un daño aún mayor? Lo que necesitamos hoy es un nuevo Atanasio, un nuevo Basilio, obispos como aquellos que en el siglo IV lucharon valientemente contra el arrianismo cuando casi toda la cristiandad había sucumbido a la herejía."
¿No se levantará ninguno de los jerarcas para defender a la Iglesia como "un nuevo Atanasio, un nuevo Basilo"? Incluso los mejores de ellos continúan limitándose a lamentos generalizados en conferencias o entrevistas sobre el estado lamentable de la Iglesia o, como máximo, la "confusión" que Francis ha causado al no "aclarar" precisamente lo que acaba de aclarar. Evitan la absoluta, necesaria, exposición del error, directa y pública en su origen. Ese error amenaza con desbordar a la Iglesia mientras hacen poco más que inquietarse por una situación cuya causa evidente -un imprudente Papa enamorado de sus propias ideas y lleno de desprecio por la Tradición- parecen incapaz de identificar.
Los clérigos y laicos preocupados en todo el mundo católico están haciendo lo que pueden según sus puestos. Pero en medio de esa "batalla final" sobre el matrimonio y la familia de la cual Sor Lucía advirtió al fallecido Cardenal Caffarra a la luz del Tercer Secreto de Fátima, dentro del elemento humano de la Iglesia, sólo los cardenales y los obispos poseen el poder divinamente otorgado para repeler un asalto al matrimonio, a la familia y a la misma integridad de la Fe que ahora, por primera vez en la historia de la Iglesia, está siendo dirigida por un Romano Pontífice.
Este desarrollo innegablemente apocalíptico impone a los jerarcas, primero y principalmente en la Iglesia, el deber de actuar. El verdadero amor a la Iglesia, en realidad, la verdadera caridad hacia el mismo Francisco, requiere de ellos nada menos que lo que se requería de San Pablo cuando el primer Papa cayó en el error y puso en peligro la mismísima misión de la Iglesia: que Pedro sea resistido (Gal. 2:11). Que Nuestra Señora de Fátima interceda para obtener para ellos la gracia de la fortaleza de hacer lo que deben hacer y lo que sólo ellos pueden hacer. Nuestras esperanzas y oraciones están con ellos como los principales instrumentos de la divina providencia en la ecclesia Dei adflicta.

Incoherencias del papa Francisco

Golden Handshake: The Vatican wants to save face after the embarrassing November dismissal of Giulio Mattietti, the former deputy director of the Vatican Bank. Without notice, Mattietti was kicked out of the Vatican. No reason was given and Mattietti himself was utterly surprised by the move. Now, according to the Corriere della Sera the Vatican wants to clean up the mess by giving Mattietti who has worked for decades for the Vatican, a golden handshake and by offering him a pension although he is nowhere near pension age.
Theory and Practice: On December 13, Pope Francis’ council of Cardinals published a press briefing about its most recent meeting. It informed that the Vatican aims at reducing the personnel of the Vatican media. But in March 2017, when the Italian TV station Sky Italia decided to reduce the number of collaborators, Pope Francis said during a General Audience – quote, “Who takes away the work from man commits a very serious sin.”
Enemy of the Church: Last Friday Socialist Bolivia President Evo Morales visited Pope Francis in the Apostolic Palace. Morales greeted Francis with the words “Good day, Brother Pope Francis”. Francis called Morales by his first name, “Evo”. Morales is known for his anti-Church stances. He has fought the bishops of his country, has pushed for the secularization of schools, promoted paganism, introduced a secular state, seized Church property, and called to abolish Catholic national holidays.
Retreating Into Piety (Michael Voris)

If there was ever a time for militancy in the Church, this is that time. But please note, militancy comes in a variety of forms. There is, of course, the militancy of faith — prayer, fasting, sacrifices etc. But there is also the militancy of action, of works. Faith, after all, without works, is dead.
There is an attitude among many faithful Catholics that bishops and priests simply can never be questioned and certainly not challenged. Many of the more progressive or careerist bishops and priests play this up to their advantage. Which is kind of funny because while insisting on a degree of obedience from the laity — a degree of obedience the laity do not owe to bad prudential decisions — they themselves will be disobedient in matters of which they actually are supposed to be obedient.
For example, let's begin with proper instruction in the Faith — an area massively ignored for the past 50 years and still ignored or substituted for with protestantized, watered-down instruction. If you got to hear the radio interview with a local Scranton, Pennsylvania, radio show last week where I was a guest and talking about Fr. James Martin's scheduled address there, the host, a pleasant enough fellow, Frank Andrews, at one point said to me he was "uncomfortable" with challenging bishops. He had viewed an earlier Vortex where I said Bp. Joseph Bambera was flat out wrong for supporting homosexualist James Martin and had, as a consequence, made the label of homosexualist apply to himself as well. He is advancing, defending and promoting the homoheresy, as Polish priest Fr. Darius Oko calls it. So a cleric, any cleric, who supports the homoheresy is by definition a homosexualist. But notice the immediate reaction. The host was "uncomfortable" with criticizing a bishop or priest for that fact.
That whole approach is how the homosexual, priest-sex abuse crisis rose to the disastrous level it did with thousands of wounded souls — some of whom committed suicide — and $4 billion in damages and counting — right, Cdl. Timothy Dolan, who just shelled out another $40 million dollars. Remember that New York Catholics when Dolan comes around with his tin cup.
We laity do not owe obedience to a bishop or cleric's bad prudential decision that has the effect of destroying the Faith through scandal. Bishop's all over the country told naive laity back in the day not to mention anything about Fr. Chester the Molester. Then, they transferred him to parish after parish. They played the laity, capitalizing on their image of one commanding obedience in all things, which they do not.
Yet still, good Catholics have this wrong. They are still "uncomfortable" with saying things about a bishop or priest's decisions that are harmful to the Church. From allowing bad dissident priests to run parishes, to horrible heterodox faculty at seminaries, to backing homoheresy-promoting priests, to keeping their mouths shut very tightly about contraception etc, the list of abuses is mind-boggling. And of course, they paint the whole social justice garbage agenda — immigration, climate change, gun control, the death penalty - as though it's dogma, and they can never be challenged.
The task of helping advance the Faith and saving the Church has fallen directly to the laity as Venerable Abp. Fulton Sheen said 40 years ago. And since we are not just spiritual beings but also composed of matter, existing in the material world, our purely spiritual works must be joined to temporal works as well.
Consider for a moment what Our Blessed Lord desires from us. Think about the wedding at Cana when Our Blessed Mother launched Our Lord to His Sacred Passion by asking Him to reveal His Divinity by performing the miracle of producing wine where there formerly was none. Did Our Lord just wave His hands and voila, there was wine? No. He desired that human agency participates in His action. He bade the waiters to "fill the jars with water." Why? He could have just had the thought, and they would have been filled with water. In fact, He would have just skipped the whole water part and gone straight to the wine. Why the water? Because he wanted humanity to have a participation in His miraculous working, and it was quite the participation.
Back in the day, the amount of effort to fill those large jars with water would have been enormous — going back and forth to the well, drawing the water out, transporting it back to the location of the jars, filling them up. Only after humanity had supplied the material labor so to speak, did Our Blessed Lord step in and finish the job.
We cannot simply retreat into piety in these difficult and challenging days in the Church. We must fill the jars with water — do the backbreaking work that we are capable of doing — have some "skin in the game" so to speak and not just sit back and wait for a miracle and claim that we trust when the reality is that we are actually lazy or selfish. Say a few prayers, and I've done my part. Not good enough, if you or your state in life render you capable of doing more.
Make sure you are not tricking yourself by focusing so much on prayer that you never actually roll up your sleeves and do the work that faith demands.

Happy Happy Holidays ...Grrrrrr (Michael Voris)

Merry Christmas! It's that time of year again. The war on Christmas has begun. Say it loudly and proudly: Merry Christmas! Do not give into that annoying, grinding Happy Holidays sentiment.
Ah! But if you listen to Jesuit priest Fr. Kevin O'Brien at Santa Clara University in California, you will hear that "Jesus doesn't care if you say Merry Christmas." In a manner only a liberal Jesuit — I know, redundant, in liberal California, again, redundant — could the underlying problem of the war on Christmas be so glossed over with such nutty, intellectual-sounding sophistry. By the way, parents who are concerned about your children's souls, don't send your kids to this college where a man like O'Brien is in charge of the School of Theology.
He offers two distortions, reasonable sounding without any deeper thought, as to why Christians should not say Merry Christmas. First, Jesus was not into self-promotion. Two, we live in a pluralistic and diverse society and can never offend. Yes, part of being Christian is always keeping very quiet about Jesus Christ's divinity and stepping aside for other religions or non-religions because we can never offend and must always "respect" man-made religions.
First, Our Blessed Lord, true, was not into "self-promotion" as it is commonly understood. But that isn't what Jesus was doing. The idea that saying Merry Christmas would make Jesus somehow blush and feel awkward because it draws attention to Himself — ludicrous!
"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."
"Come to Me, all you who are burdened and heavy laden."
"No one comes to the Father except through Me."
"Go out and baptize all nations."
What is the great idiocy that Fr. O'Brien presents as the proper "internal" approach? Well, he sets up a false dichotomy between saying the words "Merry Christmas" and being Christian in our actions, presenting it as though you can't do both. It doesn't matter if we say Merry Christmas. What matters is that we just are quietly Christian in our thoughts and actions.
Well, of course, we have to be Christian in all things but that would include using our mouths, as well and saying Merry Christmas. What an embarrassment the Jesuits have become ever since they were tainted with liberation theology more than 50 years ago. Everything sounds so reasonable, but underlying it all is a great desertion of the Faith, and it's always packaged in such a way that makes it sound OK.
Jesus was humble. He would never have wanted to be the center of attention. Yes, sure enough, Father with all your academic concentration on social justice in the arena of refugees and immigration, perhaps you were sick for class the day you were supposed to study the Scripture passage: "When I am lifted up, I will draw all men to Myself."
Catholics, don't ever draw back from saying Merry Christmas because of fear of offending somehow. As for you specifically, Fr. O'Brien, "Merry Christmas," if that doesn't offend you.

Tendiendo aún más puentes (Capitán Ryder)
Hace unos días hablábamos del deseo de la Universidad de Navarra de “tender puentes”, expresión puesta de moda por el Papa Francisco y que, sinceramente, todavía no sé muy bien qué significa.
Ayer me enviaron una noticia que había pasado desapercibida, al menos para mí, y que hacía referencia a unas jornadas ecuménico-ecológicas que habían tenido lugar en Torreciudad en junio del año pasado.
Las jornadas se celebraron con la presencia, según se nos informa de “Científicos y líderes religiosos de 15 países y 8 confesiones religiosas que acordaron una Declaración para fomentar la colaboración de la Ciencia y las principales religiones en la conservación del Medio Ambiente, como colofón del Seminario Internacional de Ciencia y Religiones por el Medio Ambiente (ISSREC)”.
¡Cáspita! me dije, esto parece mega-super importante. Así que, ni corto ni perezoso, decidí hacer “periodismo de investigación”, al menos como se hace hoy, sin salir de casa. Encendí el ordenador y me puse a buscar en la red.
Efectivamente, el tal seminario se había celebrado y, cómo no, había contado con la presencia de Monseñor Sánchez Sorondo, presidente de la Pontificia Academia de las Ciencias, quién afirmó “es importante que la ciencia y las religiones entiendan que la crisis medioambiental, es un clamor de la tierra y un clamor de los hombres”. Del clamor de los más de 6.000 millones de personas que no conocen a Cristo no dijo nada.
Por su parte El profesor Stocker, codirector del Grupo de Trabajo I del Grupo Intergubernamental de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático (IPCC), explicó “las evidencias científicas sobre el cambio climático”. De las manipulaciones del IPCC, denunciadas y, cuando ya no tuvo más remedio, reconocidas por las Naciones Unidas nada dijo.
En las fotos se puede apreciar que no faltaba nadie, hay un sacerdote, una monja budista, otra hinduista, un rabino etc por lo que los resultados supongo que estarán a la altura de semejante despliegue.
Yo no sé qué más hay que hacer para evitar que se vacíen las Iglesias. En los últimos 30 años hemos visto: Misas con payasos, misas de sacerdotes de la teología de la liberación con fusiles, cartas de Obispos con loas a Fidel Castro, hemos cantado el Padrenuestro con música de Simon y Garfunkel, los curas villeros argentinos han dejado claro siempre que lo primero es el peronismo y luego, ya sí eso, un poquito Cristo etc. Más recientemente el obispo Osoro ha participado en reuniones donde se repartía limonada ecológica, un obispo italiano probó su nueva bicicleta dándose un paseo por la Catedral, banderas arco iris sobre el altar, al cardenal Schonborn organizando una Eucaristía con los miembros más destacados de lobby-gay austríaco y al Papa Francisco organizando una comida en el interior de la catedral de Bolonia en la que se habían instalado 2 urinarios.
Sorprendentemente, tanta creatividad no ha dado resultado.
Es como los atentado islamistas, perdón, fundamentalistas, tras los cuales la gente se pinta las manos, declara que el Islam es paz, un pianista toca en la manifestación de turno y la gente deja flores donde se produjeron los asesinatos. Incompresiblemente siguen produciéndose atentados en suelo europeo.
Puede, y sólo digo puede, que ambas estrategias estén radicalmente equivocadas.
No fue el caso de esta reunión donde, cómo se puede apreciar en la foto, en un ataque de audacia y singularidad se decidió… ¡plantar un olivo!

El “Jesús” políticamente correcto (Rick Christensen)

El otro día escuché las siguientes preguntas: “Si Jesús regresara hoy a la tierra, ¿con qué religión se identificaría? ¿Con qué partido político? ¿Y qué país?” Sin duda, son preguntas que podrían generar una fuerte discusión, pero irrelevante.
La idea sobre Quién y Qué es Jesús se ha diluido y distorsionado mucho en las últimas décadas debido a varias cosas. Entre ellas están Hollywood, los telepredicadores de la televisión, diversos sabores de cristianismo, y una Iglesia católica en continua evolución y metamorfosis, al menos la porción más grande que es la más visible.
Jesús ha sido reinventado y reconstruido en incontables imágenes con un parecido a quienes quisieran que Él se amolde a sus necesidades. El Jesús imaginado por el mundo de hoy, incluso por quienes debieran conocerlo más, es pro-gay, pro-adulterio, pro-pedofilia, y básicamente a favor de todo lo que haga sentir bien, y sin razones para preocuparse por ello. El nuevo Jesús ama todas las religiones y es afeminado y frágil.
Entonces, la pregunta correcta no es hacia dónde se dirigiría Jesús si hoy regresara, sino ¿quiénes de entre nosotros lo aceptarían? No al Jesús reinventado, sino al verdadero, al Rey de Reyes y Señor de Señores.Hay numerosos pasajes de las escrituras que dan una idea sobre la verdadera identidad de Jesús, pero creo que la más clara está en los evangelios de Marcos y Mateo, cuando Jesús es confrontado por los fariseos que le preguntan si es legal pagar impuestos. De allí proviene la famosa respuesta de Jesús: “Dad, pues, al César lo que es del César, y a Dios lo que es de Dios”. Pero al intentar entrampar a Jesús, los fariseos primero dicen algo que suele pasarse por alto pero que tiene mucha relevancia. Ellos dijeron “Maestro, sabemos que eres veraz y que enseñas el camino de Dios, con verdad, sin miedo a nadie, porque no miras a la persona de los hombres.” Mateo 22, versículo 16. (Straubinger).
Los fariseos dijeron la verdad, si bien su intención al usar esta verdad era maliciosa y engañosa. Este pasaje es muy significativo a la luz de los tiempos modernos, porque virtualmente toda religión y país hace exactamente lo contrario y considera a la persona de los hombres a expensas de la verdad, la justicia y la moral.
La punta de la lanza del asunto, donde yace la mayor parte de la culpa, es la Iglesia católica. Habiendo sido un sólido bastión y un fuerte vocero de moral y justicia (justicia verdadera, no la “justicia social” que hoy mencionan con frecuencia los marxistas en la iglesia) la Iglesia se ha tornado muda y ha apoyado no implícita, sino abiertamente, esas cosas a las que le fue mandado resistir, como el matrimonio homosexual y el aborto. Una vez que la Iglesia abandonó su posición de influencia en el mundo sobre éstos y otros asuntos morales, todas las demás entidades la siguieron.
Jesús jamás dijo: “Está todo bien, hagan lo que quieran”. Él jamás dijo: “Hermanos y hermanas” ni habló en lenguaje inclusivo para hacer que la gente se sintiera bien. Él jamás procuró que estuviéramos completamente cómodos, y mientras caminó por esta tierra sembró incomodidades tanto entre Sus enemigos como entre Sus seguidores, como ejemplo y lección para todos nosotros.
Jesús no era políticamente correcto en ningún sentido del término, y este ejemplo también tiene un gran valor. Jesús también hablaba siempre de la verdad, sin importar si avergonzaba, incomodaba, era inconveniente, o difícil. Un buen ejemplo de esto ocurrió cuando Él dijo que para ser salvos había que comer Su cuerpo, en vista de lo cual muchos de Sus seguidores se alejaron; pero Él no hizo ningún esfuerzo por reformular o explicar mejor ese concepto.

¿Escuchan desde Roma? ¿Escuchan los obispos locales? ¿Comprenden los laicos de todo el mundo?Si en el escenario hipotético que inició este artículo aceptamos que Jesús es exactamente Quién es y lo Que Él es, entonces vamos por el buen camino, con la seriedad que supone salvar nuestra alma. Los medios para hacerlo y la gracia para lograrlo se encuentran en el Verdadero catolicismo y en la Tradición apostólica, de los cuales mucho se ha perdido a partir del Concilio Vaticano II.
Busquen la Iglesia Católica que representa y adora a Jesucristo tal como Él ordenó, tal como verdaderamente es. No se adormezcan en un falso sentido de comodidad, porque así es como los quiere el mundo y no les permitirá aceptar a Cristo, ni le permitirá a Él aceptarlos a ustedes cuando llegue su hora.

Loss of Credibility: The Boston Globe which exposed sexual abuse in the Boston Archdiocese, has published a self-report of sexual abuse of its own employees. Catholic League’s Bill Donohue pointed out that the newspaper released the story right before 6:00 p.m. on Friday in order to minimize the attention, the report would receive. Almost all Boston and U.S. media refused to discuss the story. Donohue adds, “When it comes to priests, however, many in the Boston media—none is worse than the Globe—find solidarity trying to bring down the Church. This is just one more reason why the media’s credibility is at an all-time low.”
Laws Must Be Respected: The former Archbishop of Palermo, Italy, Cardinal Salvatore Romeo, has defended the decision not to liberate the sick Marcello Dell’Utri, a former Italian politician who was condemned for collusion with the Mafia. The Cardinal’s argument - quote, "Who am I to replace a judge? Laws must be respected and applied, even when we do not like them ". One would wish that popes, bishops and cardinals would apply similar principles when it comes to Church law.
German Church: Sister Johanna Boenisch belongs to the Benedictine nuns of Kall, Germany. Talking to katholisch.de, the news-page of the German bishops, she recounted that a group of candidates for confirmation recently visited her monastery. Quote, “None of them could recite the Our Father by heart.”

Medias verdades, confusión, decepciones (Michael Voris)

The destruction of the Faith, on so many levels and in so many ways, will truly go down as the hallmark of Church history of this past 50 years or so and continuing. For example, when we look at the outrageous notion that the much ballyhooed and promoted Alpha evangelization program is a good idea, we see massively contradictory statements and even some rare candor by the Church of Nice leaders.
For example, let's begin with their video of the former auxiliary bishop of Detroit, Michael Byrnes, a major cheerleader for Alpha. Listen carefully to how candidly this successor of the Apostles speaks about the miserable program.
Talk about condemned out of your own mouth — this idiotic notion that the Church needs to tone down the glory of who She is and that will make people be attracted to Her. Sure because that's always how a very attractive woman gets guys to look at her. She wears the dowdiest thing in her closet, puts on no make-up, no jewelry, has the most unflattering hairdo imaginable, goes out on a bad skin day with a slight body odor and says, "Hey guys, look at me." Wouldn't want to overwhelm them now, would we? Why would she deceive potential courtiers like that? And why would Church leaders go "all in" on deceiving people, allowing them to think the Church is something other than She is. It's almost like tricking them. Hey, the Church isn't really all that.
So for 10 weeks, you cover the Church's beauty and then you tell your audience She really is the most beautiful thing on earth. It's a deception, and it causes confusion because it's loaded with half-truths. And yet it is allowed, promoted and not spoken out against by very many leaders, with the notable exception of Cdl. Raymond Burke who has condemned it and refused to allow it anywhere near Catholics he is in charge of catechizing.
In many ways, it is much like the treatment of the alleged apparitions at Medjugorje. There is so much confusion and agenda-based "reporting" and information swirling around these apparitions because just like Alpha leaders, they are terrified of off-putting people with the naked truth of the Catholic faith. Many leaders are running scared about, out-and-out denouncing the apparitions because they have allowed this chicanery to persist for so long, maybe in hopes it would just go away that now for them to come out and condemn it would cause an earthquake among those who are nearly possessed over the phenomena. But consider, local bishops have condemned it, the nation's bishops' conference has denounced it. The Vatican on multiple occasions has forbidden pilgrimages there if they revolve around the alleged apparitions and so forth.
You'd be hard-pressed, in fact, to find anything remotely approaching confirmation of the apparitions from anyone in the Church in any kind of official capacity, yet the confusion still reigns and is brought on by various clerics and bishops and senior Churchmen who keep making vague statements that give the Medjugorje supporters reasons to explode with exuberance that the "Vatican has at last approved." Nothing of the sort has happened but because of the mealy-mouthed, wimpy refusal to just come out and say it like it is, they continue to dangle out a false hope that this is all real. And who can blame them for thinking that?
That this nearly 40-year daily event has been allowed to continue, this isn't the fault so much of the followers as the cowardly Churchmen who have dragged their feet for decades in putting a stop to it all. And the fires are constantly being fanned by media-hungry prelates who keep babbling on with their ill-informed statements. Just this past weekend, for example, the specially appointed Vatican envoy made the ridiculous mistake of not being precise when he said pilgrimages are now approved to Medjugorje.
First, general pilgrimages have always been allowed. Nothing new there as long as they are not giving the impression that the apparitions are true. Even in itself, that's stupid. Think about it. We are going to allow pilgrimages to a place where claims that the Virgin Mary has been appearing tens of thousands of times for nearly 40 years but please don't anyone get the impression that doing a pilgrimage there has a blessed thing to do with those apparitions. What is a reasonable person supposed to think? When the envoy ran off at the mouth about the pilgrimages, the so-called Med-head blog sites exploded with fake news that Medjugorje had finally been approved. Nothing could be further from the truth.
In fact, if you were a betting man, you would bet on just the opposite. Every possible investigation that can be done has been done, and the final clause, closed report is sitting with the pope now. Just this past summer, here is what he said publicly about his private opinion. It isn't done yet, but it sure sounds like it's going to be. But whatever the ruling, this atmosphere of confusion and failure to say something clearly and plainly is destroying the Faith. And the whole point of this Vortex is this, "Say it clearly and say it now."
Medjugorje, Alpha, Fr. James Martin and his uncondemned heresies, no contraception but never teach about it — the list of things left up in the air, allowed, but shouldn't be, charity with little-required clarity. It's mind-boggling. If something is allowed, even though it's wrong, what on earth do leaders think people are going to think, especially when it goes on for decades? It's deceptive because people have a right to the Truth.
It seems the prevailing attitude in the Church of Nice is to bury the Truth and concentrate on making people feel good. That's dishonest, deceptive and confusing.

A nosotros que hemos visto, que hemos vivido, incluso cuando éramos niños, los años previos al Concilio, nadie puede venir a decirnos que esta Iglesia de hoy, la Iglesia del Papa Francisco, es la misma Iglesia Católica de todos los tiempos.
Esto puede engañar a los jóvenes y a los ingenuos; no a aquellos que, por razones de edad y por el hábito de la reflexión y el escrutinio crítico de las cosas, no están dispuestos a dejarse llevar por las tendencias del momento.
La de hoy no es la misma Iglesia que era entonces; y no es porque difiera radicalmente de ella en esencia, no porque ciertas de sus formas exteriores hayan cambiado profundamente. Además, en el caso de la Iglesia Católica, uno debe ser muy cuidadoso al distinguir entre forma y contenido: la Iglesia Católica no es un paquete de alimentos congelados que se pueden comprar en el supermercado, donde la caja no es más que un sobre sin importancia, que se tira cuando uno quiere consumir el producto: para la Iglesia Católica, la forma también es sustancia y la sustancia la forma. Esto siempre ha sido y debe ser así; lo que puede revisarse y tocarse es sólo la superficie, pero incluso para hacer esto, debe haber muy buenas razones.
La Iglesia Católica es un edificio inmenso con dos mil años de historia: ninguna otra institución humana existente es tan antigua. Y, de hecho, no es una institución puramente humana: el católico está profundamente convencido de ello; y si no lo está, es señal de que no es un verdadero católico. Para el católico, los fundamentos de la Iglesia descansan en esta tierra, pero su cumbre llega hasta el cielo; y su cabeza siempre es Una y siempre la misma: el Señor Jesucristo, y ningún otro que no sea Él. Aquellos que lo olvidan, aunque sólo sea por un momento, no son verdaderos católicos y no están en la verdadera Iglesia.
Estas no son opiniones, ni es una cuestión de "rigidez" de carácter, como le gusta decir y repetir al campeón del transformismo eclesiástico, Papa Francisco: ésta es una verdad absoluta y dogmática de la Iglesia de Cristo, aquélla que Jesús fundó sobre roca (son sus palabras); y lo que está construido sobre roca no debe ser sometido a restauraciones y cambios continuos, sino que permanece intacto e inmutable.
Y ni siquiera se trata de "profundizar" el significado de la fe: la fe es fe y no hay nada que profundizar; y los fundamentos de la fe son la Tradición y la Escritura. (...) Fue Jesucristo mismo quien dijo: El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán ( Mat 24, 35).
Nosotros, los católicos que hemos vivido y conocido la verdadera Iglesia, ..., dado que nuestro testimonio es esencial, no debemos renunciar a nuestra propia identidad ni desalentarnos, sino rebelarnos y decir en voz alta y fuerte que ha habido un engaño, lo peor que un creyente podría llegar a pensar: la ocultación de la verdadera Iglesia y su sustitución por una "nueva Iglesia" falsa y apóstata, que somete con sus mentiras y arrastra a cientos de millones de personas al error, sembrando escándalo y provocando amargura y consternación en el alma de innumerables católicos.
Los jóvenes no saben, no han visto y no pueden comparar: crecieron en el apogeo de las Grandes Mentiras, aprendieron una serie de herejías y piensan que éstas son verdades de fe. El neoclero no espera nada más: que pasen unos pocos años más, que los testigos de la verdadera Iglesia desaparezcan y que desaparezca así cualquier posibilidad de darse cuenta del engaño.
Pero para comprender todo esto, es necesario tener una mente lúcida y una voluntad dispuesta; aquellos que crecieron en el conformismo más total no pueden hacerlo. Y la nueva Iglesia ha sido muy astuta asegurándose de que cualquier sentido crítico y ejercicio de la voluntad, dormiten felizmente en las conciencias.
Para el católico, el "mundo" es la totalidad de las malas tendencias que surgen de la concupiscencia, la triste herencia del pecado original. Pero si los miembros de la misma Iglesia y teólogos, que se consideran católicos, dicen que no hay nada malo en hacerse al espíritu del mundo; que, incluso, es justo y meritorio, porque el mundo es una realidad positiva con la cual debe interactuar el Evangelio, ..., entonces las defensas colapsan y las puertas se abren al enemigo, sin que esto llegue a percibirse como tal apertura.
Tomemos el caso de la liturgia: Nos encontramos por ejemplo, con el sincretismo hindú-católico en la catedral de Rodez, un auténtico escándalo para los fieles.

Tratemos de ver las cosas desde la perspectiva de un joven católico, o que imagina que lo es, debido a que creció en el seno de una Iglesia progresista y modernista. Para él una Iglesia es uno de estos horribles edificios postconciliares que parecen fábricas o pabellones deportivos (...) sin un campanario (...) sin una cruz, sin una Virgen, signos visibles de su estatus como Iglesia Católica; frío, funcional, aséptico, desprovisto de alma, desprovisto de meditación, desprovisto de trascendencia, desprovisto de sacralidad. Para él, eso es una iglesia.
Y la Santa Misa, para él, es un ritual en el que la gente mira al sacerdote a la cara, que habla mucho, demasiado; luego todos se dan la mano, y cantan "oraciones" que son himnos seculares y letanías a la justicia social ... y así sucesivamente; en un determinado momento, la gente va al altar, y erguida en pie, estira las manos, se ponen en la boca un trozo de pan y vuelven a sus lugares, a menudo mirando el reloj para comprobar que el espectáculo no dura cinco minutos más de lo previsto. Por otro lado, se canta mucho, se toca la guitarra, a veces incluso se baila ... todo en un ambiente muy relajado, muy lúdico ... y con aplausos incluidos. Esto es la Santa Misa para muchos jóvenes católicos de nuestros días.
El asunto más misterioso de todos es el de la Eucaristía: un sacramento, por supuesto; sin embargo, qué es exactamente, no está claro en absoluto. Quizás en ese pedacito de pan estaría el Cuerpo del Señor Jesucristo, y en ese cáliz que levanta el sacerdote en el momento de la consagración estaría su Sangre. Esto es difícil de creer: sería un milagro hermoso y bueno.
... Pero nuestros jóvenes católicos han escuchado innumerables veces, tanto por parte de los teólogos como de los historiadores "católicos" e incluso de los propios sacerdotes, que, con eso de los milagros, deben andarse con cuidado. ¿No les dijo su maestro religioso que los ángeles y los demonios son sólo representaciones simbólicas del bien y del mal? Y eso para casi todos los milagros de la Biblia ¿Hay una explicación racional, absolutamente conforme a las leyes de la naturaleza? En resumen, que no viene a cuento eso de perturbar lo sobrenatural ... sin necesidad. Entonces, nuestro pobre muchacho, convencido de que no es bueno entrometerse demasiado en los misterios sobrenaturales hace como si no existieran.
Con esta mentalidad que se les ha impuesto, el creer que en ese trozo de pan y en ese vaso de vino están el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Jesús, se convierte en algo realmente difícil, por no decir imposible.
Y ahora, con la completa rehabilitación de Lutero por parte del Papa es todavía más difícil esa fe, puesto que Lutero no creía en la Presencia Real. Por cierto, Lutero sigue siendo formalmente hereje y está excomulgado por la Iglesia Católica: éste es un detalle del que nuestro joven amigo ni siquiera es consciente, tal vez. En la nueva Iglesia, que es misericordiosa para con todos ¿cuándo oyó hablar él de excomuniones?
Ah, sí, ese obispo francés, como así se le llamó, monseñor Lefebvre, dicen que fue excomulgado, durante el pontificado del joven Pablo II. Esto no lo conoce muy bien pero, según le dijeron, es un peligro para la unidad de los cristianos ... la cual es el valor más sublime de todos (incluso más que la Verdad).
Lo que queremos hacer aquí es tomar a este chico de la mano, y a otros como él, incluyendo también a todos aquellos católicos que, aunque ya no son jóvenes, tienen poca memoria o un espíritu crítico débil, y decirles que se están dejando arrastrar, cada día, hacia el relativismo, el naturalismo y el subjetivismo ... todo lo cual está en contra de la verdadera Esposa de Cristo, de la verdadera Iglesia.
Sacarles de su modorra, advertirles y decirles: Atención: ¡te estás dejando engañar! ¡Te están diciendo muchas mentiras; se están aprovechando tu ingenio! Y, lo peor de todo, confían en tu deseo instintivo de vivir de acuerdo con el mundo, y no de acuerdo con Jesucristo. Recuerda que las dos cosas son opuestas e incompatibles. Quien quiera vivir de acuerdo con el mundo y satisfacer los deseos de la carne, debe olvidarse de ser católico y olvidar a Jesús. No agregues una blasfemia a la apostasía.
A Jesús nadie puede manipularlo: nadie puede convertirlo en el rey de una religión de mentiras ...
